Our River, Your Way!

Set sail from our enchanting riverside setting as you enjoy a graceful trip along the iconic River Thames in one of our exclusive boating experiences. Take in the beauty of nature, fascinating wildlife and the picturesque riverside residences of historic Bray and its surrounding villages including The Royal Borough of Windsor.

Waterside Inn II

This is the elegant Waterside Inn boat available to any of our guests to take on the river for an aperitif or coffee and suitable for up to 6 passengers. You just need to decide which of your party will be skipper.

Typically our boat is on the water mid-April to mid-September.  We strongly recommend you make your reservation in advance as it is very popular.

Kindly note that, for your comfort and safety, the boat may only be taken out if the weather and river conditions are suitable.  We take our guidance from the government website for river conditions and ask guests to familiarize themselves with our terms and conditions prior to taking the boat on the river.

Charged at £150.00 per half hour.

Gatsby Afternoon Tea

Journey into a world of timeless elegance aboard our beautiful electric saloon – The Gatsby.   Designed for those who appreciate the finer things, this effortlessly luxurious escape sets the scene for pure indulgence.  Sit back as time slows down on this charming stretch of river where you will be served Afternoon Tea inclusive of a glass of Champagne and our pastry team’s delights.

Available for exclusive hire for up to 8 guests, this 2hr private skippered experience comes furnished with its own onboard WC.  Flat shoes are preferred and The Waterside Inn dress code must be adhered to.

Summer Sundays

Our Summer Sundays experience Includes:

  • One hour champagne cruise, with fellow guests, on the River Thames aboard Dragonfly, an Edwardian saloon launch, departing from The Waterside Inn jetty at 5pm
  • Cream éclairs on board homemade by The Waterside Inn’s Pâtissier
  • Dinner for Two based on our seven course tasting menu, Le Menu Exceptionnel
  • Cookery book by Michel Roux OBE
  • Overnight accommodation based on a Classic Room
  • French continental breakfast, homemade, freshly baked and served in the comfort of your room.

Skippered Boats

For our guests wishing to take a skippered cruise on the River Thames we are happy to recommend a selection of craft of varying sizes and styles ranging from a cosy boat for two up to a Thames Steamer for 35!  Please contact our Reservations Team for more details of our preferred suppliers.

Boat Mooring for Guests

Arrive in style at The Waterside Inn!  We have two moorings available to guests for launches and river boats up to 50ft long with a shallow draft of 2 to 3ft only.  Our jetty is unsuitable for a river or offshore cruiser vessels.

Electric charging is available for a fee of £20.00 at lunch or dinner | £30.00 overnight.

If mooring whilst dining, there is no charge.  Guests are welcome to stay overnight on their boat .  Please notify us in advance, to reserve your mooring.
